Further Information on the Hamzabeyli Appointment Queue System

In its additional update dated 30 October 2026, AND outlined congestion at Hamzabeyli and the initial conditions of the new appointment system. The update covered the resumption of border departures after protests and vehicle flow inside the park.

According to the update, the system planned for 28 October could not be introduced as intended because of protests that began the previous night. Although departures resumed on 29 October, waiting vehicles with appointments caused congestion.

AND reported that, at the time, appointments opened at midnight and 10 vehicles were admitted for each half-hour slot. Capacity was expected to increase as congestion eased.
